About The Position

Veritas Steel is seeking Maintenance Technicians for its Eau Claire location. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery, including welding equipment, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery. The position also involves performing preventative maintenance to ensure efficient operation and prevent breakdowns. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Experience with welding equipment, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery
Strong Electrical knowledge
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with safety regulations
Ability to read and understand technical manuals
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Preferred 3+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and machinery

Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work
Communicate with other departments to ensure equipment is running efficiently
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
Continuously improve maintenance processes
Other duties as assigned
