About The Position
The Maintenance Technician focuses on performing and documenting preventative maintenance and repairs on various aluminum fabrication geared equipment, diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, and assisting with equipment installation. This role reports to the Department Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who is safety centric, detail oriented, and possesses effective communication skills. A vital member of the Fabrication Maintenance Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, specifically with fabrication equipment.
- Experience working with CNC machinery, punch presses, drill presses, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Performing preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on CNC machines, punch presses, drill presses, etc.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine manuals.
- Perform machine alignments, calibrations, and testing after maintenance or repair.
