About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining all forklifts and hand trucks, performing miscellaneous plant maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, and working closely with management on new projects. The role requires adherence to all lock-out/tag-out procedures, welding and cutting materials as needed, and painting walls, rooms, and offices. The technician must maintain a clean and orderly workplace, complete tasks in a timely manner, and follow machine and equipment manuals. A commitment to ISO9001 and Continuous Improvement is expected.

Requirements

• Experience with forklift and hand truck maintenance
• Ability to perform welding and cutting
• Ability to paint
• Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out procedures
• Ability to follow machine and equipment manuals
• Ability to complete preventative maintenance
• Commitment to ISO9001 and Continuous Improvement

Responsibilities

• Maintain all forklifts and hand trucks
