Maintenance Technician
About The Position
We are seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team at our Euclid, Ohio facility. This role is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment, boilers, HVAC systems, compressors, utilities, and facility infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance while partnering with Production and Engineering to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically and electrically skilled professional who enjoys solving complex equipment challenges in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a commitment to safety and quality
Nice To Haves
- vocational or technical training preferred
- Experience with boilers, HVAC systems, compressors, and industrial utility equipment preferred
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial control systems preferred
- Boiler Operator License or equivalent technical certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment to minimize downtime
- Monitor and maintain boilers, steam systems, HVAC equipment, compressors, and plant utilities
- Install, repair, and commission production equipment and support facility improvement projects
- Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings and schematics
- Respond quickly to equipment failures and emergency maintenance situations to restore production safely
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and support inventory of maintenance parts and supplies
- Follow all OSHA, safety, environmental, and company maintenance procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
