About The Position

Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician I to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude. This role is based at Bennett Creek, a 264-unit affordable residential community in Jacksonville, FL 32216 (near Southpointe).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
Valid Driver's License required
Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes

Nice To Haves

EPA I & II or EPA Universal certification (RPS may sponsor within initial 75 days of service if the right skills, experience, and drive are present)

Responsibilities

Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime

Competitive base hourly pay of $23.00 per hour
Automatic quarterly pay increases every quarter following initial 90-day of service
