About The Position
The Maintenance Technician facilitates home maintenance services in members’ homes by handling routine tasks, addressing client requests, and proactively identifying potential issues. The role is responsible for helping ensure homes are cared for and consistently maintained to a high standard. The position is based in the Houston (Bellaire), Texas region.
Requirements
- Background as a seasoned handyman or maintenance professional, with experience in residential home building and/or maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic home maintenance, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Ability to troubleshoot household issues and work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort with basic computer skills, email, and proprietary software.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and quality completion of scheduled maintenance and repairs for members’ homes.
- Interact with members, subcontractors, and the support team to provide updates and instructions regarding maintenance needs.
- Provide clearly documented reports after each visit summarizing work completed and any necessary follow-up.
