About The Position

Bright Innovation Labs is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join their expanding team in New Albany, OH. This is a critical, full-time, direct-hire opportunity for skilled, career-minded individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and a positive work ethic. The company is a privately owned contract manufacturing company serving leading brands with high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Their 225,000+ square foot facility features research, production, and warehouse operations, offering extensive product filling capabilities including 16 total filling lines (7 liquid, 5 alcohol, 1 hot pour with cooling tunnel, 3 tube filling lines). Safety is a top priority. As a Maintenance Technician, the role involves ensuring production lines run at peak performance, tackling daily challenges in equipment repair, installation, fabrication, and preventive maintenance, and utilizing mechanical, electrical, and technical expertise to maintain efficient, safe, and reliable operations. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager and Team Lead, you'll contribute to the continued success of production and distribution operations.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of maintenance experience with fillers or comparable automated systems
  • 2+ years of experience in high-speed production environments
  • Strong knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, diagrams, and schematics
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and equipment fault isolation
  • Basic computer literacy and mathematical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Norden, Zalkin, or Kapsall equipment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute maintenance assignments promptly to minimize downtime and maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment.
  • Repair and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns; make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain equipment in safe, efficient operating condition.
  • Translate OEM documentation into actionable maintenance standards.
  • Utilize the CMMS system for work orders, inventory management, and recordkeeping.
  • Assist with production line changeovers and setup adjustments.
  • Follow all GMP, SOP, and safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Support structured improvement initiatives and special projects.
  • Disassemble, inspect, and repair defective machine parts using hand and power tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with other maintenance and production team members.
  • Take ownership of work performance and demonstrate consistent craftsmanship.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
