About The Position
Pax Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support two growing apartment communities in Tallahassee, Florida. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be part of a team that's transforming apartment communities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general repairs.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- EPA Certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally.
- Perform apartment make-readies for new move-ins.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, carpentry, and other maintenance issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the communities.
- Maintain the grounds, common areas, and amenities.
- Assist with inspections and ensure all work meets company standards.
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for emergencies.
- Work closely with the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to provide outstanding resident service.
