About The Position

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our facility safe, comfortable, and running at its best for both residents and staff. As the Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping everything in top shape. No two days are the same! You will maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure smooth operations, respond quickly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, and perform a variety of repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and plastering. You will also construct and repair building structures, partitions, and equipment using hand and power tools, and keep our grounds looking great with landscaping tasks like mowing, trimming, planting, and more. Additionally, you will assist with cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining company vehicles to help create a safe, well-maintained environment everyone can rely on.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of maintenance technician experience
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting required
• Valid driver’s license
• Must meet EveryAge’s auto insurance coverage standards
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
