About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production and facility equipment. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting a safe and efficient work environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, solving complex equipment issues, and contributing to the success of a high-performing manufacturing team. Schedule: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off Hours: 7:45 PM – 6:15 AM

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of one year of mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Experience using computers and common software applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with production equipment and machinery.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Welding experience, including stick and wire-feed welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience using hand tools, torches, drill presses, cut-off saws, iron workers, and similar equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain forklift and company vehicle licenses.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and accurately document completed work.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime and production disruptions.
  • Move, install, anchor, and align production equipment as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Assist in the fabrication and construction of equipment components and support structures.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory required for repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate material requirements for maintenance projects.
  • Partner with production leaders, supervisors, and value stream managers to address operational and equipment concerns.
  • Follow all safety procedures and proactively identify and report unsafe conditions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects across the facility.
