About The Position
Skillforce is currently seeking mechanically inclined Maintenance Technicians for a 4-week project focused on cleaning condenser coils on rooftop cooling units for a data center. This is a great opportunity for individuals comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and following detailed instructions in a structured environment. Technicians will be responsible for cleaning condenser coils using a water hose, following manufacturer-provided procedures. All system shutdowns and restarts will be handled by Vertiv personnel.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined with basic tool knowledge
- Comfortable working outdoors and on rooftops
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Fall Protection / Fall Safety Training
Responsibilities
- Clean condenser coils on rooftop HVAC/data cooling units
- Follow step-by-step instructions provided by the manufacturer
- Use basic hand tools as needed for access and maintenance
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Work efficiently as part of a team of 4 technicians
- Adhere to all safety protocols, especially for rooftop work
