About The Position

The Maintenance Technician will partner with the Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to develop and execute programs that reduce downtime in recurring trouble areas. This role is responsible for repairing production equipment safely and efficiently following breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions, performing preventative maintenance on machinery, fabricating and installing new equipment, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment. The technician must follow all safety protocols, utilize proper PPE, and comply with company policies. They will also support assigned projects and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in fabrication, mechanical, and electrical repair using shop tools.
Forklift license required.
Ability to read precision gauges and technical drawings.
Ability to safely and properly use hand tools.
Ability to learn technical repair and assembly procedures.
Strong adaptability with willingness to cross-train in multiple job functions.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Forklift license preferred if not currently certified.
