About The Position

Avanti Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Mountain Village community. This role is crucial for maintaining the appearance and operational efficiency of the property, both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing units for new move-ins, handling work orders (including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC), performing appliance repairs, conducting unit inspections, updating logs, and undertaking exterior maintenance tasks. This position also requires participation in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours emergencies. Requirements

1+ years of relevant experience required.
OSHA, EPA, and CPO license/certifications preferred.
Written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and up-to-date vehicle insurance is required.
If minimum qualifications are met during resume screening the Wonderlic pre-employment assessment is required.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
Complete work orders within 24 hours as directed by the Community Manager and/or Service Manager.
Report any emergency work orders in a timely manner.
Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call responsibilities.
Complete grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping such as mulch and sprinkler head replacements when possible.
Manage Snow removal (CO, KS, UT) or Hurricane Preparation and Clean up (FL).
Demonstrate strong customer service skills and maintain clear, professional communication with residents, vendors, and team members.
