The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production equipment and facility systems in compliance with Company, USDA, and FDA standards. This role supports equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, food safety, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with company policies and environmental and safety regulations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
2+ years of maintenance experience
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing systems
English proficiency in both oral and written
Actively listens and communicates clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms, adapting to the audience as needed
Ability to maintain consistent performance in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Ability to work onsite (remote work is not an option)
Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to change and learn quickly

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Start up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production machinery and equipment
Respond promptly to maintenance calls and equipment issues on production lines
Perform preventive maintenance on machines, pumps, motors, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility systems
Diagnose equipment failures, complete repairs, and conduct basic root cause analysis to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot worn parts and rebuild machine assemblies, pumps, valves, cylinders, and actuators as needed
Utilize mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic PLC troubleshooting skills
Complete work orders in a timely manner and maintain accurate maintenance records
Monitor spare parts inventory and report usage and re-order needs to management
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while properly maintaining tools and equipment
Follow all company safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions, injuries, or accidents
Perform other duties as assigned
