Schochet is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for Glen Meadow Apartments. Glen Meadow is a 280+ Market Rate apartment community located in Franklin, MA. Requirements

Must have electrical/plumbing/ HVAC/appliance repair skills.
Must be able to lift moderate weights of between 30-60 lbs. on a regular basis.
Ability to stand and/or walk all day.
Occasional heavy lifting may be required.
Duties of this position may require strength and endurance in performing heavy manual labor.
Must have experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair and of unit turnover procedures.
Must live within 30 minutes of Franklin, MA for rotating on-call.
Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
Pre-employment background check & drug test required.

Nice To Haves

Prior residential property maintenance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Completion of all types of work orders from residents.
Completion of all resident apartment turn over tasks.
Completion of "On-call" duties.
Some administrative duties may be included such as opening, tracking and closing work orders.
Conducting property inspections and/or participating on an inspection team.
Complete preventative maintenance activities.
On-going inspection of tools and equipment for safety.
Ensure full knowledge of property’s emergency procedures.
