Position includes hands-on trouble shooting and/or repair of plant equipment and facilities including the installation, modification, repair of tools, implements, structures, vehicles, etc. from an electrical, electronic and mechanical nature.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year maintenance and manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, oprating and mainenance instructions, schedules, diagrams and procedure manuals.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to read mechanical diagrams and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Accomplish assigned tasks in the safest, most effective and efficient manner possible.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve equipment related maintenance issues to ensure that our production processes are running within the predetermined control parameters.
- Work from blueprints, schematic drawings, verbal instructions, handbooks and manuals as necessary to perform maintenance on equipment.
- Carryout preventative measures and look for alternative solutions to maintenance problems encountered.
- Perform all required preventative maintenance work on assigned equipment.
- Prepare and maintain all documentation, recording all repairs; including changes and modifications made to our plant equipment.
- Maintain and promote a safe and clean work environment throughout the maintenance department.
- Instruct, train, guide and assist other maintenance personnel as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs.
- Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, intructions, and all safety rules
