Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years previous maintenance experience
  • Possess an understanding of electrical systems and be able to read and understand wiring diagrams.
  • Possess an understanding of mechanical systems and be able to read and understand detail and process & instrumentation drawings.
  • Possess an understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in explosive manufacture preferred

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues with process equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance work orders.
  • Disassemble/install new equipment, sensors, machines, etc.
  • Perform tasks such as parts replacements, cleaning, etc.
  • Inspect equipment and systems for stability and quality.
