About The Position

Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to join our Fredericton Maintenance team. Requirements

• Experience in a similar role
• Ability to work as a team, and also under minimal supervision
• Effective, proven skills and experience
• Plumbing experience, general trades experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for day-to-day operation

Nice To Haves

• Renovations experience an asset
• General knowledge of electrical an asset
• Knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, etc.

Responsibilities

• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences
• General maintenance and/or painting
• Flooring installation
• On call rotation required approximately every 8-9 weeks
• Snow removal required during winter months
• All other duties as required
