Requirements

  • Lock out/tag out
  • Fall protection
  • Emergency evacuations
  • Inspect, wear and maintain appropriate PPE
  • Ladder safety
  • Spill containment and clean-up
  • Confined space entry
  • NFPA 70e
  • Arc Flash
  • Food Defense
  • GMP’s
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in food grade manufacturing preferred
  • Computer and microprocessors experience preferred (Microsoft Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of safety codes, electrical circuits, plant food safety requirements, NFPA 70e, isolation and elimination of energy sources
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

  • Complete complex maintenance repairs/work orders
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance of equipment
  • Advanced system troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical
  • Clean and sanitize any work area and equipment where work is performed, including critical control points
  • Complete all tasks in work area on the master cleaning schedule and document
  • Provides excellent internal customer service
  • Set up and installation of high speed mechanical seals
  • Boiler maintenance and troubleshooting including: safety, functionality, and controls
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuit issues, electro-pneumatic systems, control systems, motor control circuits, electrical and P&ID drawings
  • Complete and record required daily wastewater tests
  • Train lower level Maintenance Techs
