This is a part-time, weekend-only position for a Maintenance Technician. The primary responsibilities include timely repair of production equipment failures, completing improvement projects to ensure equipment stability, and performing assigned preventative maintenance. The role requires assisting software engineers with on-site debugging, participating in continuous improvement programs, and performing installation and repair of electrical and mechanical components. The technician will also be responsible for testing and repairing various types of motors and switches, reading electrical and mechanical drawings, and understanding ladder logic, Siemens systems, H.M.I. systems, industrial controls, and PLC & VFD functions. Maintaining current certifications in LOTO, Arc Flash, Fall Protection, and Confined Space is mandatory. Additionally, the role involves training production staff on equipment SOPs and TPM procedures, fabricating and welding equipment as needed, and communicating repair needs and improvement plans with supervisors and managers. The technician must be familiar with equipment mechanisms, structures, and functions, and master knowledge of routine inspections, reactive and preventative maintenance, and lubrication. Other duties as assigned may be part of the role.
