About The Position
CF Industries has many exciting and challenging opportunities at its world-class production facility in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Technicians in this position are responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing physical equipment in a chemical manufacturing facility. The technician will meet this responsibility in a safe manner by understanding and adhering to standard I & E procedures and techniques. Technicians in this position must be available and willing to work call-out and overtime.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in a chemical or manufacturing plant - technical knowledge and/or related work experience.
- Advanced knowledge of electronic instrumentation repair.
- Ability to understand flow meter principles.
- Ability to read and understand P&ID's.
Nice To Haves
- Academic degree, certifications and/or licenses are preferred.
- Experience with DCS & PLC controls highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and perform preventative maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment in a chemical manufacturing facility.
