About The Position

The REMM Group is actively seeking two skilled Multifamily Maintenance Technicians to support our beautiful community in Los Angeles, near Chinatown and Union Station. The work schedule is Tuesday - Saturday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The REMM Group is among the rapidly expanding companies in the real estate management sector. Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair principles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, working with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High Sense of urgency while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Candidate must be able to work in an environment in which demands and priorities change rapidly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Yardi property management software (a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Ensures completion of all apartment turnover.
  • May assist with minor construction projects and renovations.
  • Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally, diagnosing and resolving issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs and document repairs made in Yardi Voyager software.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to identify and address potential problems before they occur.
  • Maintain the Cleanliness and Curb appeal of the property, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Responsible for routine maintenance and emergency problems if needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed to obtain necessary parts and materials.
  • Communicate with excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with residents and staff.
  • Strategically plan how to turn units with your team.
  • Keep storage facilities and equipment organized and in working condition.
