About The Position

Kerry Brothers Truck Repair is expanding and growing fast, and we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of maintenance techniques, tools, and equipment used in building and grounds maintenance.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor tasks, lift and carry heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and interact professionally with tenants, visitors, and vendors.

Nice To Haves

Any experience
Vocational training or certification in maintenance, landscaping, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in facility maintenance, groundskeeping, or landscaping is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of all facilities, including buildings, grounds, and common areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas according to established procedures and schedules.
Conduct regular checks of lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other building systems to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
Assist with minor repairs and adjustments to building fixtures, furniture, and equipment as needed.
Maintain the appearance and safety of outdoor spaces, including parking lots, sidewalks, landscaping, and green areas.
Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding to keep outdoor areas neat and well-maintained.
Remove litter, debris, and snow from walkways and parking areas, using appropriate tools and equipment.
Monitor irrigation systems and water features to ensure proper operation and address any issues or leaks.
Inspect, clean, and lubricate machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent malfunctions or breakdowns.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools according to manufacturer guidelines.
Report any equipment defects, malfunctions, or safety hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor for repair or replacement.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment and furniture for events, meetings, and special projects as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices when performing maintenance tasks or operating equipment.
Participate in safety training programs and meetings to stay informed about workplace hazards, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Report any safety concerns, near misses, or incidents to the Maintenance Supervisor or Safety Officer immediately.
