About The Position

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our production operations by keeping machinery, equipment, and facility systems running safely and efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting, repairs, preventative maintenance, and supporting production teams while following all OSHA and facility safety protocols (LOTO, Arc Flash, etc.).

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to take coaching, communicate clearly, and work well with others.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/warehouse safety standards.
  • Ability to follow standardized work instructions and SOPs.
  • Strong attention to detail and personal accountability for safety.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Exposure to moving machinery
  • Indoor manufacturing environment
  • Heat may exceed 90°F; humidity may exceed 80%
  • Noise levels may exceed 85 dB
  • PPE required
  • Frequent standing, sitting, bending, stooping
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional typing and computer work

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or technical school training in mechanical, electrical, or related fields
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or Electromechanical Tech is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production, packaging, and processing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical issues.
  • Work with PLC systems and AC/DC drive troubleshooting as needed.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and work orders.
  • Complete preventative maintenance using CMMS and follow SPC data when required.
  • Ensure proper function of line support systems (lubrication, resin delivery, utilities, etc.).
  • Respond to breakdowns and support the team to minimize downtime.
  • Communicate equipment issues to supervisors, leads, and production teams.
  • Accurately complete work orders and maintenance records in the CMMS.
  • Track parts usage and report low inventory levels.
  • Follow SOPs and maintain clear, organized documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including the maintenance shop.
  • Follow all OSHA, facility safety rules, GMPs, and sanitation standards.
  • Identify Critical Control Points (CCP) and support continuous improvement.
  • Support special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
