About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician at the Whitestone Site you will be instrumental in ensuring safe and reliable operations of the manufacturing facility. You will work as a member of team to ensure all preventive maintenance strategies are completed in a timely manner. Additionally, you will implement change due to repair or improvement initiatives for plant operations optimization. This position is part of a job family with multiple levels and will be filled at a level that is commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED with 3-5 years of Industrial Mechanic/Electric/Instrument/Operations experience OR hold a 2-year associate’s degree from a technical school with 1-3 years of Industrial Mechanic/Electric/Instrument/Operations experience.
  • Able to troubleshoot and diagnose instrumentation calibration/repair, rotating equipment maintenance/repair, electrical equipment knowledge, piping installation, among others.
  • Familiar with all capacities of a multimeter and are able to operate mobile equipment.
  • Possess strong level of basic computer skills
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure conformance with environmental, quality critical and safety requirements commensurate with executing required maintenance or replacement activities.
  • Utilize piping and instrumentation diagrams, connection diagrams, tubing diagrams, specifications, and installation procedures to install, calibrate, diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance of process control instrumentation systems.
  • Execute plant preventative maintenance activities including mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical tasks to ensure reliable operations
  • Work on daily troubleshooting of all plant equipment including pumps, agitators, air compressors, motors, flow/pressure/temperature instruments.
  • Be involved in evaluation of mechanical, instrumentation, electrical and analyzer systems performance to identify optimization and enhancement opportunities.
  • Perform instrument calibrations based on maintenance strategy
