About The Position

Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW) is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist in providing Owners and guests with memorable vacation experiences. This role contributes to making meaningful moments together in a supportive, friendly, and beautiful work environment. The Maintenance Technician I will perform various maintenance tasks to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold company standards.

Requirements

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Able to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Able to lift/carry/push/pull items that weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned (e.g., basic painting, basic repairs like replacing lightbulbs, temperature readings on appliances/HVAC).
Performs minor building repairs as assigned.
Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
Participates in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development.
Welcomes and greets guests, anticipating and addressing their needs.
Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
Contributes to team goals.
Follows company policies and safety procedures.
