About The Position

Dietz Property Group (DPG) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team at two premier apartment communities in Columbus, OH. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) responsible for the repair and upkeep of the apartment community. The role involves providing exemplary service to residents, timely completion of service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and unit inspections/rehabilitation as scheduled. Requirements

Ability to frequently push or pull up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift up to 75 lbs., kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
Customer service skills
Ability to be in the on-call rotation

Nice To Haves

Any experience in maintenance, construction, a skilled trade, home repair, or as a maintenance tech would be highly desirable, but we will train and mentor the right individual for a rewarding career in property management!

Responsibilities

Complete service requests, preventive maintenance, and unit rehabilitation as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Director.
Complete required property and unit inspections and ensure any follow-up work is completed as scheduled.
Provide quality and professional service to residents.
Ensure that all equipment, vehicles and shop areas are kept clean.
