About The Position

HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Industrial industry. This role involves assisting with all maintenance activities across the facility to support efficient operations and equipment reliability. The technician will support the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, including steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. They will also perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, identify and resolve safety concerns, and perform housekeeping and maintenance-related tasks both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, the role includes monitoring inventory, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, and interpreting maintenance literature and blueprints.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or military setting.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance literature and blueprints written in English.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours during an 8-hour shift.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of boiler systems.
• HVAC experience.
• Experience performing welding activities, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all maintenance activities across the facility to support efficient operations and equipment reliability.
• Support the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, including steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Identify and resolve safety concerns in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards.
• Perform both indoor and outdoor housekeeping and maintenance-related tasks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies necessary for maintenance operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service logs, and equipment status.
• Read and interpret maintenance literature and blueprints to support repairs and equipment upgrades.
