About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment. This role involves working with natural gas and liquids separation & filtration systems, condensate stabilization and amine treating systems, and compression systems. The technician will regularly interface with various teams including instrumentation & electrical, plant operations, engineering, control room, supply chain, management, environmental, and safety.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in gas processing or related industry
• Must live with 45 minutes from Three Rivers, TX and Runge, TX.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
• Understanding of importance of environmental and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with minimal supervision
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as manuals, schematics, and P&IDs
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Familiarity with mechanical systems and rotating equipment
• Familiarity with standard safety and operational procedures in oil and gas environments.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be willing to respond to callouts or emergencies as needed

Nice To Haves

• College Degree or Technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance of turbine, reciprocating, and screw compression systems
• Regular interface with instrumentation & electrical technician, plant operator, engineering, control room, supply chain, management, environmental, and safety teams
