About The Position

This is a Summer Seasonal, non-union position responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of key summer operations projects at Keystone Resort. This role plays a critical part in preparing mountain infrastructure for winter operations, with a focus on Signs and Closures, Pads and Trail Maintenance, Winter facilities, weather stations, and Snow Safety support infrastructure. This position operates as a field-based, technical role requiring a high level of independence, problem-solving, and ownership. Responsibilities include spring teardown, construction and maintenance of signage and closure systems, manufacturing and upkeep of Trail Maintenance items and systems, weather station upkeep, and support of patrol and snow safety equipment and facilities. Success in this role is measured by the ability to take initiative, execute projects efficiently, maintain high standards of work quality, and contribute to a safe and collaborative operational environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift and ski with a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl in all weather conditions in a high alpine environment
  • Snowmobile level 2 required with ability to achieve level 3 in a reasonable amount of time
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work within a team

  • Strong Decision-making skills
  • Expert skiing/riding skills
  • Competent with Windows based programs; specifically, Microsoft Office
