About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers with 20 locations across 7 states. Its treatment programs span detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient care in a clean, modern, comfortable setting. The Maintenance Technician helps maintain the facility, equipment, and property, supports building repairs and renovations, assists with technical issues, performs outdoor custodial work, and completes maintenance checklists.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.
• Innovative, strong worker with the ability to problem-solve and multitask.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect the facility, equipment, and property for defects.
• Assist with interior and exterior building renovations and repairs.
• Assist with technical difficulties, including video calls, internet service, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform outdoor custodial duties such as gardening and snow removal.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment maintenance.
