About The Position

The Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance and responds to guest and associate work orders at the Omaha Embassy Suites. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems; maintaining pool systems; repairing hotel furniture, fixtures, and equipment; and completing seasonal groundskeeping and trash removal. The position requires general maintenance experience and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, squatting, walking, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of general maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Hotel maintenance experience.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment, including laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
