The Maintenance Technician will act as a safety champion, promoting a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing material handling systems and conveyors, including motor/reducer issues, belt tracking, and belt lacing. The technician will also diagnose electrical and electronic control systems using test equipment. Safely operating equipment such as forklifts, lifts, hand tools, and energy management equipment is crucial for system support tasks. A working knowledge of a work order system is required, along with the ability to maintain positive working relationships and communicate effectively with senior operations leaders. Additionally, the technician will mentor other technicians by providing motivation, guidance, and training. The role requires standing and walking for up to 12 hours, working at heights up to 30ft frequently, and may require overtime with little notice.
