The Maintenance Technician maintains the property by creating comfortable and productive environments as well as performs ongoing facility maintenance and completing necessary repairs. This role is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations and the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, Facilities Manager, and/or General Manager. Key responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining HVAC systems, completing work orders for various repairs, providing support for property activities, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance programs. The technician will also embrace and promote sustainability initiatives, assist in achieving property goals and budget requirements, and develop a personal action plan for skill enhancement. Additional responsibilities include operating and maintaining backup generators, performing minor repairs on building systems, tracking equipment lifespan, assisting with emergency system testing, and maintaining operator licenses for maintenance equipment.
