About The Position

Green Mount Lakes is hiring a Maintenance Technician for their 240-unit property in O'Fallon, IL. This role is crucial in providing an outstanding living experience for residents by managing general upkeep, unit turns, and preventative maintenance.

Requirements

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance experience preferred
• EPA universal license for HVAC required
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances including washer and dryer
• Experience with turnover “make-ready” of apartments
• High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• CPO license preferred
• Basic computer proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas above quality standards to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Identify and resolve potential safety or upkeep issues.
• Execute seamless make-readies, repairs, and final checks for new residents.
• Provide reliable emergency support on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Champion a culture of safety by following all industry procedures.
