About The Position

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and appearance of the community. This includes responding to resident requests, preventative maintenance, turn/make-ready work, and maintaining property standards.

Requirements

  • Complete at least 85% of work orders within 48 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to resident work orders/service requests and follow up to ensure completion and quality.
  • Complete make-ready work within an average of 5 days.
  • Complete renovation units within 14 days when new flooring and cabinets are recommended.
  • Proactively identify and address potential hazards by regularly walking the property and making repairs.
  • Maintain daily upkeep of grounds and property appearance to meet company standards.
  • Maintain accountability and security of all property-issued tools.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to ensure safety measures are followed and assist with property safety audits as needed.
  • Implement, document, and follow preventative maintenance programs and participate in ongoing training according to WGPM guidelines.
  • Diagnose problems and make necessary repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, interior/exterior structures, appliances, and apartment make-readies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
