Maintenance Technician, (7AM-7:30PM)

About The Position
This is an entry-level maintenance position. This role will serve as a primary resource on preventive and demand maintenance activities within their current skill set while supporting Senior technicians with more advanced tasks. The shift for this position is B1, 7am-7:30pm, working Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday.
Requirements
- Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
- HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate.
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
Nice To Haves
- Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.
- 6 months of experience with maintenance activities and Mechanical or electrical aptitude Highly Desirable
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic drawings Highly Desirable
- Some experience with preventative maintenance and demand maintenance Highly Desirable
Responsibilities
- Adhere to Abbvie’s Code of Business Conduct
- Understand and follow all GMP and Safety regulations
- Work with Sr Level Technicians across several areas of Maintenance to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation for their career in the Skilled Trades with the intent of building skills and developing into a higher-level Technician.
- Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities, support Predictive Maintenance activities.
- Vocational training to increase skill set and knowledge across multiple maintenance functions.
