About The Position

First Pointe Management Group (FPMG) is seeking a friendly, energetic, full-time On-Site Maintenance Technician for their 300-unit apartment community in Citrus Heights, CA. This role is crucial for resident satisfaction, requiring a personable, talented, tech-savvy individual with a keen eye for detail and quality. The position involves a proactive approach to preventative maintenance, with each day presenting unique challenges that require prioritization, creativity, and problem-solving initiative. Professionalism and follow-through with residents are key. The role includes an on-call rotation and requires living on-site in a company-provided 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit.

Requirements

Solid understanding of maintenance in the residential property management field: plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and painting.
Highly organized to handle work at a fast pace, efficiently with follow through and an eye for detail.
Proactive approach to handle anything that comes your way, especially when it comes to emergencies and after hour calls.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work after hours for on-call emergencies as part of the on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance tasks in residential property management, including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and painting.
Handle work at a fast pace, efficiently, with follow-through and attention to detail.
Proactively address issues, including emergencies and after-hours calls.
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergencies.
Live on-site in a company-provided unit.
