Requirements

Skilled position at the journeyman level in several trades.
Proficiency in several trades.
Ability to determine work methods and procedures independently.
Receive assignments orally or through written instructions, which may be accompanied by sketches or diagrams.
Willing to abide by the company handbook in regard to following safety rules and job rotations.
Willing to report unsafe conditions, reporting unsafe acts, participating in safety/ergo committees, participating in safety Kazan events, participating in blue sky initiatives, participating in safety audits, and participating in safety observation feedback events.
Participate in communications events such as plant wide meetings, line meetings, department meetings, and training exercises.

Responsibilities

Installs, alters, electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, transformers and other such equipment.
Test, maintains and evaluates equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers and pressure gauges.
Troubleshoot PLC’s with computer terminal.
Perform trouble shooting of faulty equipment and perform minor repairs as required and see to general maintenance of system.
Performs skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering and plumbing.
Checks and repairs pumps, fans, valves and motors.
Adjusts repairs and replaces electrical and electronic pneumatic relays.
Prepare accurate records for preventive maintenance.
Performs related work as required
