About The Position

Alloy Products Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team of technicians in Waukesha, WI. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience in a sheet metal environment who likes to fix things, has a natural curiosity about how things work, and brings solid problem-solving skills to the table. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a sheet metal environment preferred; experience in maintenance, mechanic work, or similar preferred.
Basic knowledge of general maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools and testing equipment
Ability to work independently or under supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently
Forklift operation experience preferred
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Perform basic repairs and general maintenance to keep facilities functional, safe, and in good working order
Assist with basic plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical repairs and installations
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions on production machines and material handling equipment
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to catch issues early
Respond promptly to both minor and major facility-related service requests and emergencies
Open, close, and secure buildings and systems as required
Work with wastewater and hazardous chemicals in accordance with applicable codes and regulations
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
Work as part of a team of technicians, taking direction from Supervisors and Management on priorities
Operate forklifts, cranes, and other industrial equipment to assist with loading/unloading, including use at elevated heights
Use mechanical and electrical tools and testing equipment proficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools
Track stock of basic maintenance supplies and notify Supervisor when restocking is needed
