Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or vocational certification
- Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation for business-related responsibilities
- Working knowledge of: HVAC systems, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance repair, Carpentry, General building maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform service requests and maintenance repairs promptly and professionally
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
- Complete preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance
- Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including make-ready and quality inspections
- Maintain community amenities, common areas, and grounds to company standards
- Identify and address safety concerns throughout the property
- Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively with management and residents
- Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Director to deliver exceptional resident service
