About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician (Maintenance I) to support equipment reliability and facility operations within our manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on a wide range of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment efficiency.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
2–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Nice To Haves

Experience with PLCs/VFDs is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in a manufacturing environment.
Replace or repair defective components, including motors, bearings, sensors, belts, gearboxes, valves, and conveyors.
Utilize tools and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, torque wrenches, calipers, and alignment tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
Assist in installation and setup of new equipment.
Document maintenance activities and parts usage in CMMS.
Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams on root cause analysis.
Follow all safety procedures including LOTO and OSHA standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
