The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all production line equipment within the department to prevent and/or correct mechanical and electrical breakdowns. This role involves cross-training on all lines in the department/area of responsibility, analyzing equipment failures, and recommending/implementing corrective actions. The technician will also be involved in project meetings, troubleshooting and modifying PLC programs, understanding control loops and industrial networks, and developing/enhancing PMs and troubleshooting guides. Coordination with other maintenance personnel across shifts and utilization of the EAM system for documentation are key aspects of the role. The position also supports plant high performance culture, continuous improvement programs, and compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
