Riverence Brood LLC is a broodstock business producing premium quality steelhead/rainbow trout, golden rainbow trout, Atlantic salmon, and coho salmon eggs. Our eggs are sold to our sister companies, Riverence Farms LLC and Riverence Provisions LLC, and other customers throughout the US and worldwide. Requirements

  • Ability to safely operate various related equipment and tools
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply operating policies and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and effectively with people inside and outside the organization using verbal and written methods.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to handle reasonably necessary stress.

  • Must be comfortable around water
  • Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
  • Good judgement must be always used.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and a scissor lift. Will train if necessary.
  • Safety Oriented
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in maintenance/electrical environment required.
  • Must have basic knowledge of electrical wiring and plumbing with general carpentry and repair skills and have a strong background in troubleshooting problems.
  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification required
  • Current valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Professional certificates/training or work experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, general repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Provides preventative maintenance as instructed.
  • Perform repairs on company machinery and equipment.
  • Basic Vehicle Maintenance which can include repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
  • Repair minor to major plumbing, electrical, carpentry and safety systems.
  • Provides general assistance to all areas where needed.
  • Provides general maintenance of company grounds, including weed eating, mowing, and pressure washing.
  • Performs daily operation of composter.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Operation of forklift, manlift, tractors and lawn mowers.
