About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of production equipment to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and minimize production downtime. This role involves performing regular preventative maintenance, unscheduled emergency repairs, and executing installations and other equipment-related projects. The technician will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures, replace or repair parts, and make necessary adjustments. They will read and interpret equipment service manuals and work orders, use various hand and power tools, and adhere to all safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The position requires maintaining a clean and orderly work area, ensuring personal safety, and representing the company and Coca-Cola brand positively with ethical conduct. Regular, consistent attendance is an essential job function.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED with at least 3 years of related experience.
  • Previous maintenance experience is needed.
  • Strong mechanical and technical capacity.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and quickly resolve problems within an assigned timeline.
  • Ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, service directions, and work orders.
  • Ability to follow all standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and GMP protocols.
  • Strong problem resolution and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to analyze and effectively solve complex problems, while dealing with stressful situations.
  • An excellent team-player who is flexible and able to adapt to varying situations.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with lock-out/tag-out.
  • Regular, consistent attendance is an essential job function.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous PLC experience.
  • Completion of a craft apprenticeship.
  • Production maintenance experience is highly desired.
  • Previous welding, piping/pipe-fitting, and mechanical solving experience with manufacturing/production equipment is ideal/preferred/required.
  • Beverage manufacturing background is desired.
  • Some computer experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on production equipment.

  • Perform tasks safely and ensure personal safety.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the department.
  • Represent the company and Coca-Cola brand image favorably and ensure ethical conduct at all times.
  • Maintain regular, consistent attendance.
