About The Position

Arnold Grounds Apartment Management & Affordable Housing is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to support a dual multifamily community located in Cleveland, Ohio. This position services Blvd and Neal Terrace with a combined total of 164 units. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and committed to providing quality affordable housing through excellent maintenance service and resident support.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in apartment maintenance or general maintenance/repair work preferred.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Commitment to maintaining safe and affordable housing communities.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, appliance repair, and painting.
Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance requests.
Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs.
Maintain clean, safe, and attractive common areas and grounds.
Assist with preparing vacant units for new move-ins and inspections.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory of supplies and equipment.
Support the property management team with daily operational needs.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company standards and safety guidelines.
