About The Position

Seeking a highly skilled maintenance technician with broad hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repair, and facility maintenance. This role involves general maintenance of all facilities, including preventive maintenance and repairs across several facilities within a 2-mile radius. The organization is focused on helping people and caring for its employees.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Three years’ experience in building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall maintenance of the buildings, including routine maintenance on building systems.
• Responsible for overseeing all operating systems in the buildings, e.g., fire alarms, boiler inspections.
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Assist the Facilities Manager in an annual review of building needs and in subsequent alterations when indicated.
• Support and adhere to the NPI Code of Ethics, work rules, policies, plans and procedures to promote a safe and secure environment for the residents, visitors and employees of New Paths.
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures within the maintenance work area.
• Responsible for answering emergency service calls after hours.
• Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
