As a Maintenance Technician, you will provide essential support in the operation, inspection, and maintenance of assigned facilities, working closely with the operations and facilities team as well as third-party vendors. Your role is critical in ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of properties, directly contributing to client satisfaction and operational excellence. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, performing timely repairs, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers the opportunity to develop your technical expertise while working in a collaborative environment where your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will make a tangible impact on facility operations and client experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
Strong customer service skills with a commitment to providing exceptional service
Sound knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance processes
Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as required
Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures, including compliance with state, county, or city ordinances, codes, or laws

Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on assigned facilities, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Conduct regular facility inspections and due diligence assessments, promptly reporting any issues that may affect client occupancy and operations
Perform general interior maintenance tasks, including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and fixing doors
Collaborate effectively with the operations team, clients, and vendors to address maintenance and repair needs
Update work order status in real-time using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and escalate problems or issues to customers and managers in a timely manner
Assist with the maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment as directed, and move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as necessary
Comply with all safety procedures, maintain a clean and safe work area, and participate in mandatory safety training sessions
