About The Position

A Maintenance Technician at Woodward Camp is an integral part of the camper's experience. They will be part of the maintenance staff, maintaining records, keeping Woodward's renowned facilities operating at a high level. A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks across the property ensuring the campus remains clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for our guests. These vital tasks may include landscaping, cleaning, removing trash, and performing maintenance on a wide array of features at our facilities.

Requirements

  • 2+ of years' experience in general maintenance techniques
  • OSHA certified on applicable equipment
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and confined spaces
  • Well versed in electric, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and fleet maintenance
  • Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team
  • 5+ of years' experience in general maintenance techniques
  • OSHA certified on applicable equipment

  • Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of management techniques
  • Provide work related references upon request.

Responsibilities

  • Operate light equipment (Weed Eaters)
  • Operate vehicles including: pick-up trucks, Kubota side by side and trailer, and golf carts
  • Clean and maintain tools and mechanical equipment
  • Pick up litter, trash and leaves
  • Respond to emergency calls
  • Perform painting duties, sand, caulk, prime and paint
  • Perform groundskeeping tasks such as: weed eating, mowing grass, and landscaping
  • Perform snow removal
  • Perform minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry work
  • Operate a pressure washer
  • Put up and remove seasonal awnings
  • Repair vandalism
  • Operate small hand and power tools
  • Operate a variety of air tools
  • Assume custodian's duties
  • Assist with guest requests and needs in a timely manner
  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety facility inspections
  • Other duties as assigned.
