About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm with overtime as needed. Specific duties include troubleshooting and repairing equipment using manuals and specifications, disassembling and replacing worn or damaged parts, preparing parts lists, assisting with equipment relocation and installation, conducting preventive maintenance, and mounting equipment according to specifications. The role also requires following all safety and environmental policies during operations.

Requirements

  • MIG welding experience is required.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • 12 months of related repair and maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Capable of regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to obtain Forklift certification.
  • Valid Driver's License and proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Must successfully pass a drug test and background check as part of the hiring process.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time as the task dictates.
  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of a plant or warehouse.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with occasional moving up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area.
  • Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand and mechanical tools.
  • Must be able to safely mount and dismount from the back of a truck.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace.
  • Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic proficiency with hand tools is preferred.

Responsibilities
